Day Fourteen: Food
One of the good aspects of clean eating: there's always attractive produce sitting around, begging to be photographed.

Evening Light
Zeb took this one the other night when we were camping, and I love it. Finn was pointing to the sky and saying, "Stars! Sky!" (Yes, he should've been asleep. It was 10:30!)

Just a Note
I haven't forgotten about the "Morning Light" and "Evening Light" photo prompts for this week, but I thought I'd try to capture them this weekend while we're camping.
Also, "Morning Light" first occurs here at 5:25AM, and the sun doesn't set until 9PM. At both of those times, I'm in my pajamas and in our apartment. Usually. (I lead a riveting, riveting life.)
EXCEPT when we're camping!
So, today, coming right up: Doors and Windows.
(I actually shot this one in Pensacola, FL last year. Is that cheating? I've always wanted to post it somewhere.)

Day Four: Water
I didn't get to a car wash yesterday, so I had to improvise. (I'll save that for another day!)
So, here, water:

White
I started a 30-day Photo Challenge (again) today. Here are the daily themes. If any of you would like to join in, just put your blog link or Facebook link in the comments!
These were shot today (June 1) at Beartooth Pass. (Where you feel like you can touch the sky.)
I learned something today: snow scenes are tough to make interesting. And tough to show texture.

i love rainy days.
i love rainy days. i do.
but not seven of them in a row. not with a toddler. in an apartment. and not the windy, cold kind.
but rainy days do lend themselves to creativity for me sometimes.
thus, i give you: photoshoot of finn #5698127
(hey, when you want to be creative, but you don't want to get out, and you have an oddly contemplative toddler, you go for it.)
in other news, my ol' macbook is giving me the rainbow wheel o' death at every turn. not a good sign. she doth protesteth much.

Welcome to My New Blog!
I'm kicking it off, folks!
I'm really going to do this!
Here goes!
I've created a new website (View it here: www.livelylightphoto.com) and this new blog for my photography business. Now that we're settled in Billings, Montana, it's time to get busy.
I'm offering wedding packages starting at $2000 for the full day. This also includes an hour-long engagement session before the big day. I've got a fairly wide-open schedule this summer since I just moved here, so if you're lookin' to get hitched this summer and don't have a photographer yet, hit me up! We'll have fun!
All live events, portrait sessions, and food/product photography sessions start at $150 for an hour-long shoot. Print packages are available a la carte to meet your needs.
Let's take advantage of the beautiful Montana summer and photograph it!
And here's what my camera has to say about that:
